The Lattakia national football team for the deaf is looking forward to prove its worth at the external level after it excelled in the local championships, as it recently won the Republic Cup for the second time in a row.
In a statement to SANA’s sports reporter, the national team coach, Bilal Sakhata, said that the team’s players have good skill levels and have great ambition to compete in foreign tournaments and achieve remarkable results, adding that winning the Republic Cup for the second time has provided them with a great incentive to continue their training in preparation for participating in the upcoming foreign tournaments, where coordination is made with FA to search and install external posts.
He referred to the great efforts made by the players of the national team this year, which resulted in their winning the Republic Cup title, where the players underwent training programs with the participation of 30 players, despite the lack of closed halls due to maintenance work.
