On the occasion of World Teachers' Day on Tuesday, the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Statistics Office announced an increasing number of student teachers in the state.
"For the first time since 2012, the total number of students aiming to become a teacher at general schools did not decline any further in the 2020/21 winter semester," said a statement from the Statistical Office in Schwerin on Monday.
