Police officers came under heavy fire on Monday, October 25 in the evening, while they were in a surveillance operation of a deal point in the district of La Duchère, in Lyon.
No injuries are to be deplored, but an investigation for attempted homicide was opened Monday evening.

, the police fired nearly forty shots in response, facing their attackers equipped with handguns and long guns.
