Members of the Knesset of the joint list met tonight (Tuesday) in Ramallah with representatives of the six Palestinian civil society organizations that the Israeli government has defined as terrorist organizations under an order signed by Defense Minister Bnei Gantz.

At the same time, they promised to continue to assist them in their fight to overturn Defense Secretary Gantz's decision to include the six organizations on the list of pro-terrorist organizations.
In the joint list, they harshly criticized RAAM and Meretz and claimed that the parties, by virtue of being members of the coalition, are responsible for the decision of Defense Minister Ganz.

The joint list states: "In the opposite world where the government deepening the occupation calls itself a 'change' government, the defense minister dares to declare internationally respected human rights organizations as terrorist organizations. Meretz and RAAM must decide which side they are on - the occupation, annexation and apartheid side Equality and democracy.
This is a precedent-setting and dangerous decision and we will fight against it on all levels, including the international one. "
MK Sami Abu Shehadeh of Balad said: "We met in Ramallah with the six human rights organizations that Gantz claims to be terrorist organizations. These are dedicated people who have been working for human rights and justice for many years and against his occupation and crimes. Will Bnei Gantz dare to appear in The Hague?"
MK Aida Toma-Suleiman said: "We met in Ramallah with the six human rights organizations that the Transformation Government denounces as terrorists.

"Meretz and Ra'am are no less responsible for this attempt to break up Palestinian civil society. We are fighting for their right to oppose the occupation on every stage."
