The basketball players from Alba Berlin lost in the Euroleague at Olympiacos Piraeus with 83:87 (42:52).
In an exciting and sometimes spectacular game on Tuesday evening, too many missed opportunities on the offensive were decisive for the narrow away defeat.
The top scorer of the game was Oscar da Silva (17 points), who shaped Alba's game together with Luke Sikma (9 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists).
Piraeus - Without the still injured Ben Lammers and Markus Eriksson, the team of coach Israel Gonzalez started the game well.
From the middle of the first quarter, however, the hosts were decisive in the game thanks to a fluid offensive and good hit rates.
Berlin, on the other hand, missed numerous good opportunities offensively, defended too inconsistently and were 42:52 behind at halftime.

In the third quarter, an intense and even game developed, in which Alba, however, was permanently behind a deficit.
While Olympiakos repeatedly transformed difficult throws in important moments, their guests, led by Luke Sikma, repeatedly worked out second throw opportunities.
Nevertheless, it took until the final section before Alba could come up decisively.
Thanks to a more concentrated defense, the guests reduced the deficit in the final minutes, led by Oscar da Silva, sometimes spectacularly several times to three points.
However, Alba was unable to finally turn the game, so that in the end the fourth Berlin defeat was in the sixth Euroleague game of the season.
