Homs-Sana
One person died and several others were injured at dawn today as a result of the deterioration of a passenger bus on the Homs-Damascus international road in the Al-Bureij site, south of Homs.
Brigadier General Ghiath Aqel, Director of Civil Defense in Homs, told SANA reporter that the branch operations room received a distress call about the deterioration of a passenger bus on the Homs-Damascus road near Al-Bureij, and a number of passengers were trapped inside as a result of its overturning. The general public and the ambulance system to take out the trapped, including a deceased person, and help them to Deir Atiyah Hospital.
Aqel indicated that the road has been secured until the effects of the accident are removed.
