A taxi driver was injured on Tuesday morning by a passenger with a knife stab in the leg.
The 47-year-old driver had previously driven the unknown man from Mespelbrunn in the Aschaffenburg district to Dieburg in southern Hesse, as the police announced on Tuesday.
There the man pretended to have to get money from a bank to pay for the trip.
Dieburg - But then he attacked the driver and fled with another man who had been waiting for him on site.
The taxi driver was taken to hospital because of the knife stab.
The police are investigating suspected dangerous bodily harm.
