Two of the most popular countries for Israeli tourists have announced a change in their entry policy, the change also includes Israeli tourists and will limit some of them significantly.

In the US, where they announced the expected changes a few weeks ago but did not officially publish the full regulations, yesterday published the guidelines for tourist entry starting November 8. According to the order signed by US President Joe Biden, only vaccinated and children Until the age of 18 they will be able to enter the country without the need for isolation.

In an order signed by the US president, there is no reference to recoverers and at the moment it seems that anyone who has not received at least two doses of vaccine will not be able to enter the US unless otherwise announced.

It is important to take into account that the guidelines are constantly changing and it is advisable to follow the updates on the subject.

In Italy, too, a change in the conditions of entry of Israelis was announced during the night.

From now on, any Israeli who wants to fly to Italy will be required to perform a corona test, even if he is fully vaccinated.

The decision changes the policy according to which vaccinated Israelis could fly to Italy without the need for checks before flying to the country.

Unclear guidelines regarding recoverers

In the statement of the Italian government, there is a reference to recoverers from Japan, USA and Canada, but no reference to recoverers from Israel, which puts Israeli recoverers who want to fly to Italy in an unclear situation.

It is important to remember that only those vaccinated with a second dose less than six months ago and vaccinated with a third dose who have waited a week in Israel or returned 14 days since receiving the third dose are exempt from isolation back to Israel from all orange and yellow countries in the world.
