Members of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Vaccine Advisory Committee voted to recommend the emergency use authorization of Pfizer's covid-19 vaccine for children from between 5 and 11 years.
If the resolution is approved by the full FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the decision would benefit 28 million minors in the United States.
