The Public Establishment for Drinking Water in As-Suwayda Governorate has restarted 3 wells after completing their repairs in different areas of the governorate.
The director of maintenance and investment in the corporation, Eng. Samih Nasr, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the wells that have been maintained and restarted during the past few days included well No. 8 in the city of As-Suwayda and the wells of Salakhd station 6 and 8, with an abundance of 25 cubic meters per hour, each of which restores the lost water supply. to the populations it nourishes and supports.
Nasr pointed out that the horizontal cold well pump was also repaired and operated, with the follow-up to the workshops of the Technical Corporation for the wells that malfunctioned, and the utmost efforts were made to repair it according to priority and available capabilities, as work is currently being done to maintain the Raha 6 well, with maintenance of idle generating sets and well plates in As-Suwayda and Al-Raha, as well as What the water units carry out maintenance work on networks and main pumping and traction lines in some villages and towns to improve the reality of drinking water in them.
The number of wells of the Public Establishment for Drinking Water in As-Suwayda, which are located in the investment, is about 250 wells distributed over the various regions of the governorate.
