The increasing number of corona infections is causing difficulties for the Rastatt health department in tracking contacts.
Until further notice, not all those who tested positive could be contacted by phone, the authority announced on Tuesday.
Because of the many cases of infection, there are processing residues.
All those who tested positive for the virus via a rapid test or a PCR smear should go to the mandatory 14-day quarantine.
Rastatt - "We have received corresponding feedback from health authorities," said a spokesman for the Ministry of Social Affairs.
"You can also feel there that the incidence of infections is increasing again." In view of the vaccinations, however, not every single contact is tracked.

A family doctor in the Swabian district of Donau-Ries is suspected of having incorrectly issued his patients with vaccination cards for corona vaccinations.
After the criminal police announced on Thursday that the doctor's practice had been searched, the Donau-Ries district office warned patients on Friday against using the vaccination records.
