At the moment, there is only one fault on S-Bahn line 1. As reported by Deutsche Bahn, a previous repair on a vehicle is impaired.

The S-Bahn continue to start and end in Moosach.

"Please alternatively use the underground lines U 2 Feldmoching or U 3 Moosach and change accordingly," the DB says.

Update on October 25th at 6.30 p.m .:

The repair of a vehicle at the Hirschgarten is finished and the main line between Laim and Donnersbergerbrücke is no longer closed.

As reported by Deutsche Bahn, there are still line deviations on the S1, S2 and S8 (see previous update).

The reason for the renewed partial trunk line closure on this Monday is a repair to a vehicle at the Hirschgarten stop.

According to its own information, the DB announces possible track changes via the announcements and displays on the platform.

Tickets that have already been purchased will also be recognized for the duration of the disruption in MVG's means of transport, such as underground trains, trams and buses.

    The S-Bahns start and end at Munich main station, platform 27-36 and run to and from Pasing without stopping.

    S 6 Tutzing


    The S-Bahn begin and end in Laim.



    S 6 Ebersberg


    The S-Bahn start and end in Munich East.



    S 7 Wolfratshausen - Kreuzstraße


    The S-Bahns run on the regular route through the main line.



    S 8 Herrsching - Airport


    The S-Bahn will be diverted between Pasing and Ostbahnhof (long-distance train) and the main line will not be used. The Leuchtenbergring stop is no longer applicable.

Update, October 25, at 4:50 p.m.:

Deutsche Bahn has lifted the trunk line

between Isartor and Ostbahnhof.

As reported by DB, the repairs to the affected signal have been completed.

All S-Bahn trains run again on the regular route with all scheduled stops.

The exception is

line S 1 Freising / Airport

: the journeys continue to start and end here in Moosach.

Alternatively, the U 2 Feldmoching or U 3 Moosach underground lines can be used.

As reported by Deutsche Bahn, there may be further delays and partial failures despite the trunk line being blocked.

So up-to-date at the Hirschgarten: Due to repairs to a vehicle, the departures in the direction of Pasing can be delayed by up to 15 minutes.

The main route in Munich between Isartor and Ostbahnhof is still partially closed.

The S-Bahn lines

Munich - As announced by Deutsche Bahn on Monday morning, October 25th, around 9 a.m., the main line in Munich * between Isartor and Ostbahnhof will remain closed for the time being.

The reason is a repair on a signal.

"Please expect significant delays on the main route and on the outer branches," reports Deutsche Dahn.
