Saad Aljabri becomes clear when he speaks about Mohammed bin Salman, MbS for short, in an interview with the program "60 Minutes".

The Saudi Crown Prince is a "psychopath without empathy, who feels no emotions (...)." Aljabri was once one of the most important secret service agents in the kingdom.

Today he lives in exile in Canada and claims to be afraid for his life.

Aljabri fled in May 2017 after breaking with MbS.

In the CBS interview, he now stated that a six-man killer squad had arrived in Ottawa, Canada in October 2018.

The men were charged with his murder, according to Aljabri - but they did not make it through the airport control.

Aljabri had already made this allegation through lawyers last year, but this is the first time he has spoken about it personally.

Saudi Arabia denies the allegations.

Aljabri said that he himself had been repeatedly warned not to enter Saudi representations in the country.

Otherwise he would have faced a fate similar to that of the regime critic Jamal Khashoggi.

The journalist was killed in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in October 2018.

Presumably at the behest of the Crown Prince, a killer squad had stunned Khashoggi there, killed and dismembered with a bone saw.

In the current interview, Aljabri addresses the administration of US President Joe Biden directly.

"I appeal to the American people and the government to help me release these children," says the former intelligence officer.

It's about his two youngest adult children who are in custody in Saudi Arabia.

Your arrest in the summer of 2020 had even criticized the then US administration under Donald Trump.

This was otherwise considered to be extremely devoted to MbS.

Alleged plans against the then king

In the interview, Aljabri also describes an alleged conversation from 2014. In it, MbS allegedly spoke about a possible murder plot against the then King Abdullah.

According to Aljabri, a poisoned ring was central to the plan.

According to Aljabri, there are two recordings of the conversation - he knows where these are hidden.

Saudi Arabia has so far not commented on the specific allegations, but has described Aljabri as a “discredited ex-official” who “keeps thinking up things to distract from his own financial crimes”.

The kingdom accuses him of embezzling millions.

Under the former King Abdullah, the Aljabri family belonged to the Saudi Arabian elite.

After the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, »Dr.

Saad, ”as Aljabri is often called, also made a name for himself in the United States as a reformer of the security forces.
