Dachau - The incidence in the Dachau district on Monday was 144.1 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days.

The number of patients in the Dachau hospital rose in the past week, according to the district office: Currently, 19 patients, four of them with vaccinations, with a proven Covid-19 infection are being treated in the normal ward, and another five patients need intensive care.

In general, the incidence is increasing again throughout Germany and was yesterday at 181.1 in Bavaria and 113 in Germany. The Bavarian hospital traffic light - as of October 25 - is still on "green" at 397.

In the week from October 18 to 24, a total of 260 new infections were reported to the Dachau health department.

85 percent of infected people are symptomatic.

The age structure of the infected:

6 percent 0 to 6 years

12 percent 7 to 12 years

8 percent 13-18 years

36 percent 19 to 39 years

25 percent 40 to 59 years

8 percent 60-79 years

5 percent 80 and older

When counted down to the different age groups, children and adolescents under 18 years of age have an incidence of 219, those of 18 to 59 years of age 186 and those over 60 years of age 89. The incidence in unvaccinated people is 290. Overall, there are still diffuse infections without local hotspot.

The health department therefore asks you to continue to comply with the rules and measures to contain the corona pandemic and, despite the various freedoms, to observe the basic hygiene regulations. People with symptoms of illness that indicate a Covid 19 infection should avoid any contact with other people and contact a doctor (by phone) or at least take a test. The infections continue to take place mainly in the private environment. Most of the infections found in schools are also based on out-of-school infection sites.

The vaccination teams are on the road again this week in the district: There is an overview at www.landratsamt-dachau.de/impfen. All persons aged 12 and over can be vaccinated against the coronavirus spontaneously and without prior appointment in the vaccination stations and with the mobile vaccination teams. The following dates are available this Wednesday: Altomünster, Bahnhofstrasse 23, 2 to 6 p.m., and Niederroth, Landhotel zum Plabstnhof, 2 to 6 p.m.

The number of first vaccinations in the Dachau district has risen to currently 104,416 (as of October 25).

This corresponds to a vaccination rate of 67.4 percent, whereby vaccinations with the vaccine from Johnson & Johnson are not recorded in the primary vaccinations.

Second vaccinations are also increasing.

A total of 102,557 citizens in the district have already received the second dose of vaccination.

The second vaccination rate is currently 66.2 percent.

According to the district office, the booster vaccinations are in good demand.

In addition to the attending physicians at the various old people's and care facilities, there have already been over 2000 third-party vaccinations in the two vaccination centers.

The district office recommends checking in advance for all vaccinations at vaccination centers.
