The criminal Asi Abutbul has petitioned the Supreme Court to allow him to put a Blu-ray CD player in his cell in prison - Walla learned !.
The head of the criminal organization imprisoned since 2017 claims that the IPS refuses to allow him to insert the CD player he previously held in his cell or to purchase a new player of the same type for his own money.
The Central District Court ruled that the IPS should purchase a new player for the prisoner. S. announced that they would make available a Blue Ray drive that connects to a sterilized computer - which is not connected to the Internet. Abutbul refused to accept the device.
Abutbul also demanded the introduction of unique headphones, noise filters and speakers. They argued that the inmate could buy headphones in the prison canteen, and that speakers were banned for security reasons.

Abutbul filed an application under the Contempt of Court Ordinance, claiming that the IPS did not comply with the court's instructions, but in view of the solution proposed by the IPS, his application was denied.
Now, Abutbul has filed a motion for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court, which opposes the district court's decision to dismiss the motion.
Avi Abutbul was charged in 2017 with the murder of Adv. Yoram Hacham in 2008 and the murder of Arthur Rosen in 1999. Adv. Hacham represented Abutbul in a case in which he is accused of running a criminal organization.
Abutbul was not happy with the negotiations he was conducting and decided to eliminate him by attaching an explosive device to his vehicle.
In 1999, Abutbul offered to assassinate his enemy, Alon Giladi, in exchange for a large sum of money.
Rosen refused and was shot shortly afterwards.
