Reichersbeuern

- "This is a decade-long municipal task, if not a task of the century," said Andreas Raab from the Raab und Kurz planning office. "I'm foolishly happy that so many people have come," said Mayor Ernst Dieckmann with a view of the almost fully occupied school auditorium. At the same time, he outlined what has happened in the past six years. In March 2015, for example, the municipality submitted an application for village renewal to the Office for Rural Development: "We noticed at the time that village renewal was not going badly in Bichl and Benediktbeuern," explained Dieckmann. In the following years there were numerous meetings of working groups, excursions and joint workshops, in which it was discussed in which areas Reichersbeuern could change - without losing the village character.“The fact that we work out something together with the citizens was a new story for us,” said Dieckmann. “We learned a lot.” Due to the corona, however, not much has happened in the past year and a half.

Speaker Andreas Raab from the planning office Raab and Kurz warned: “Changes happen.

But if they happen, they can often no longer be reversed. ”The village renewal concept should serve as a compass of what should happen in the next few years.

Looking at the real estate rogue in the center of the village and the move to the town hall, Raab stated: “We have already had many village developments.

But it is seldom that there are so many interrelationships. ”These are the central issues that village renewal is all about:

Village square

A village square with a high quality of stay is to be built around the "Altwirt". “There were long discussions in the working groups,” recalls Raab. A realization: “If we want to have a village square that is a meeting point, we have to make sure that we get the parking spaces out. Otherwise we don't have a village square, but a parking lot. ”Since parking spaces are the livelihood of the“ Altwirt ”, one has to look for alternatives. This is how the village park can be integrated: “There are a lot of good examples of how such parking spaces can be created. It doesn't have to be a sealed, tarred area. ”Tölzer Strasse and the former post office building are also to be included in the planning:“ This includes upgrading the Kreisstrasse, ”said Raab. "But you don't have that in your own hands, you have to rely on the district as your partner. ”Trees, benches and a fountain should ensure quality of life in this area.

Former town hall

"There were discussions about what should happen to the building of the former town hall," said Andreas Raab. The infrastructure and the building services are in a state “that the house does not necessarily have to be continued”. The recommendation is therefore: abort. Raab: “You are doing yourself a favor if you want to create something new.” The idea now is to create affordable living space and living space for senior citizens there. “The goal is to take away people's fear of old age.” In the near future, a third of the population will be senior citizens, some with need for care or nursing. "If someone says: We can do it in the inpatient facility, then I can only say: Forget it." There are not enough staff for inpatient care alone. The aim is "living with perspective". This includes barrier-free living, the selective use of domestic help, escort and visiting services, neighborhood help and possibly also multi-generational living. It also makes sense to set up a doctor's office.

Ice rink

Reichersbeuern is considered the most famous ice hockey village in Germany.

It is questionable whether there will be an ice rink in Reichersbeuern in the future: "I come from a village with an ice rink myself," said Raab.

"In the past few decades, ice skating has hardly been done because the winters are getting warmer and warmer." This topic was discussed for a long time in the working groups.

A versatile multifunctional area for summer and winter activities such as football and basketball would be conceivable.

A central location close to the school, as before, is “pretty ideal” because the children and young people can be picked up there easily.

In combination with the school, there would also be a good frequency of use.

Relief road

This project must have died. "Take a look at the current federal traffic route plan," said Raab. “Never before has so little been taken out of the pot. There is no longer a project that is not complained about - that is part of the reality of life. ”In order to be able to build a road, you have to be 100 percent sure that you have the right to plan. This is not the case in Reichersbeuern, "because the load numbers are far too low." With a road construction project, there must always be a reason for justification, "otherwise the whole thing will collapse like a house of cards in the event of a lawsuit". Since there is a lot of work in such a project at the same time, the risk for the community is ultimately "damn high". In order to justify the construction of a relief road, “huge building areas” would have to be created in Reichersbeuern. Ernst Dieckmann agreed:“We would have liked to have built the road. But we have to recognize the reality that the traffic load is not enough for that. "

Bahnhofstrasse

“There were a lot of discussions about reducing the speed in the working groups,” recalls Raab.

The proposed thresholds are out of the question: "The approach and departure movements create a lot of noise," explained Raab.

“They have not proven themselves in Germany.” Narrowing lanes, bulges and a change in the road surface are more conceivable.

In addition, the confluence area with Tegernseer Straße is to be redesigned.

ways

As part of the land reorganization, there were also two "field workshops" in which the farmers announced which paths should be upgraded.

Ultimately, the following are shortlisted: The Gramersauweg, the path to the elevated reservoir, the field paths north of the railway line, the field path towards Kranzer and the Hofzaunweg.

However, the department for food, agriculture and forestry in Holzkirchen may be responsible for this, said Oster: “Our authority only subsidizes when nobody else subsidizes.” The Bahnhofsweg plays a special role The town center and the train station are: "Above all, the children are then away from Bahnhofstrasse."
