In a row for lovers of Israeli art: This
coming Saturday evening, four original and special paintings will be put up for sale in Israel at the "Tirosh" auction house.
They were taken from the collection of the "worthwhile" investment company of the bankrupt businessman Eliezer Fishman, who came down from his assets.

The highlight of the sale and one of the iconic paintings created in Israel is the painting "The Goddess Returns to Zion" by the late and esteemed Israeli artist Reuven Rubin.
This is a large, oil on canvas painting, 162x114 cm in area. The size of the painting makes it one of the greatest works of the late painter that has been put up for auction in recent decades.
The painting itself was created in 1967, immediately after the conquest of Jerusalem.
This great work of art was purchased by Fishman's company in 2001 for no less than $ 215,000, and will go up for auction at a low (relatively, of course) starting price of $ 120,000 as part of the debt arrangement with him.
A work by Isaac Snowman,
The auction house believes that this is "a very rare opportunity to purchase such a painting. In our opinion, it has the potential to triple the starting price, and even reach a higher amount, both because of the artist's identity and because many buyers are interested in collections of former Israeli tycoons."
The other three paintings belong to the artist Yosl Bergner, who is also one of the most well-known and sought-after artists in the market.
A painting by a non-Israeli artist - Isaac Snowman by name, starring a Jew wearing a tallit and tefillin - and praying will also be sold.
