Two police officers were attacked and injured by three men in Berlin on Tuesday night.
The trio hit and kicked the officers, the police said.
Among them was a 35-year-old who is said to have been noticed in advance because of domestic violence.
Berlin - The officials were on their way to him in Erkstrasse in Neukölln for a so-called threat speech when he met the emergency services in the stairwell with two relatives aged 36 and 41 years.
The three then attacked the two police officers and could only have been brought under control with reinforcement and irritant gas.

School searches reveal drug stashes
The police searched three schools and several buildings in Limbach-Oberfrohna (district of Zwickau) during a drug search.
A drug stash with remnants of marijuana was discovered in a school toilet, the Zwickau police department announced on Thursday.
In addition, the officers found individual units of cannabis consumption and utensils for drug use in some young people.

The 35-year-old was taken into custody until Tuesday morning.
His two relatives were released after their identities were clarified.
All three now have to answer for the assault on law enforcement officers and dangerous bodily harm.
