Unknown bullies were up to mischief on the weekend (October 22nd to 24th) in and in front of the Protestant church in Haidstrasse.

According to the police, they destroyed the disinfectant dispenser, threw pillows around and even prepared a fire in front of the church.

Holzkirchen

- The special dignity of a place of worship apparently did not concern these perpetrators: In the evangelical blessing church in Holzkirchner Haidstraße, strangers were up to some mischief last weekend.

There was also property damage, which the police estimate at around 200 euros.

Apparently the perpetrators even intended to light a fire.

According to the Holzkirchen police, several property damage occurred between Friday, October 22nd (12 noon) and Sunday, October 24th (7 pm) in the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Haidstrasse 3.

The unknown perpetrator or perpetrators came to the church without any problems, as the church is open every day.

In the entrance area of the Blessed Church, the perpetrators made use of the disinfectant provided there.

They spread the drug on the entrance floor and smeared it on the front door.

Inside the church, they tossed chair cushions.

There were also burned matches in the church.

Presumably there is a connection with the discovery of a fireplace next to the church.

The fireplace consisted of a vehicle tire and small wooden branches.

A fire was not lit here.

The police suspect that the unknown perpetrators may have been disturbed beforehand.

Whether there is actually a connection with the vandalism in the church remains to be clarified.

Witnesses who can provide relevant information about the unknown perpetrator (s) are asked to report to the Holzkirchen police station on 08024 / 9074-0.
