The Saudi-led military coalition in Yemen said on Tuesday it had killed 85 rebels in air raids in the past 24 hours around the strategic northern city of Marib, a target of heavy bombing for two weeks.

This coalition supports the government groups on the ground in this region which are trying to repel the offensive of the Houthi rebels.
For more than two weeks, the coalition has announced almost daily reports of rebels killed in but the figures cannot be independently verified and the Houthis rarely communicate on the victims in their ranks.
