The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 42 deaths and 871 new infections with the emerging corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The official spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 326,379, while the total number of deaths has reached 18,375.
Mujahid indicated that 875 people recovered from infection with the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of people recovered to 275,637 people to date.
Yesterday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 48 deaths and 889 new infections with the Corona virus.
