Trained hairdressers and employees in the catering industry earned the least in Thuringia in 2020.
They came to an average gross hourly wage of just over 12 euros and were thus well below the national average of 16.85 euros, as the State Statistical Office announced on Wednesday.
According to this, employees in the telecommunications sector earned the most at EUR 21.87.
Erfurt - Gastro employees of the statistically defined performance group 3, for whom training is usually required, received 12.27 euros gross without special payments.
For providers of other personal services, including hairdressers, it was 12.36 euros.
