Little frills, a lot of functionality: This is how the plans for the new sports hall of the FCA Unterbruck come from, which have now been presented to the local council.

Fahrenzhausen

- The FCA Unterbruck would like to build a sports hall on its club premises. At the most recent municipal council meeting, the association and planner Robert Kern presented very specific drawings with a hall that should above all be simple and functional. After the general decision of the municipal council to be able to imagine a sports hall at the FCA site, it now became concrete. The sports club won local council member and architect Robert Kern for the project.

He now presented a plan for easy implementation with minimum costs and maximum return. He presented a construct in which two larger hall areas with an area of around 650 square meters (18 x 36 meters) are connected by a middle section with two floors. The middle of the hall contains the changing and shower areas below and a gallery above, from which both halls can be viewed. The gallery can also be separated for smaller courses and contains a small adjoining hall that has about the space for six table tennis tables. In this way, the FCA Unterbruck accommodates all of its departments in the building and creates options for three or more user groups to have space at the same time.

Robert Kern made it clear that short distances were taken into account in the planning and that the load-bearing capacity should also be very economical with many pillars.

"We're not doing any experiments or posing here," said Kern.

“Nobody wants to be realized here.” With a lowering of the hall by about 1.50 meters (“What is justifiable for groundwater and flood protection”), the height of the building is roughly in line with the FCA sports center.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

After the information about the planning, there were then two directions of opinion in the community. Some councilors wanted to put the train on the track quickly and insisted on an early policy decision in the November meeting. Other parts want to look at the hall theme in a more extensive way, together with the school sports hall, which will have to be replaced by a new building in the short to medium term. A questionnaire from the councilors Renate Selmeier and Eva Stocker is now on the table. You and Mayor Heinrich Stadlbauer would rather take the time to answer the questions. In addition, they wanted to think about the future of the school gym, where not much had happened in 2003 after a drawing of possible new building sites. "That is a very smart solution," said Eva Stocker about the FCA planning."But I cannot decide that without cost estimates."

Christian Kislinger, local councilor and treasurer of the sports club, saw the assessment as an understatement: “That is more than smart.

That is almost perfect. ”Second Mayor Andreas Karl (“ A great suggestion ”) was also very impressed and asked for further resolutions to be dealt with at the November meeting of the municipal council.

The association now has to wait for the community because the next steps and preliminary examinations will cost money.

"We can do something in the club," said Christian Kislinger, "but that requires a resolution from the local council." With the club as the builder, the Bavarian State Sports Association (BLSV) provides a 20 percent cost subsidy, ten percent interest-free loan and other subsidies if it is built well in terms of energy.

About half of the costs and future maintenance would have to be borne by the community.
