Hama-Sana
The Al-Fida gin in Hama has received about 600 tons of the beloved cotton from the farmers of the eastern governorates since the start of the receiving process on the 12th of this month to date, for the current agricultural season.
The director of the gin, Eng. Osama Kayal, explained to SANA reporter that the received cotton is currently being collected in warehouses designated for this purpose, provided that ginning operations begin after receiving sufficient additional quantities to operate the ginning machines.
Kayal indicated that the cottons that come to the gin have good technical specifications in terms of quality, and they are of the agricultural type, as the cotton seeds will be extracted from them and delivered later to the General Organization for Seed Multiplication, expecting an increase in the quantities received during the coming period, especially with the farmers accelerating the harvest operations before the rains.
