The seven-day incidence in Thuringia is rising steadily.
The Robert Koch Institute reported 241.8 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week on Wednesday.
The previous day the value was 235.7.
The Free State continues to have the highest seven-day incidence of all federal states.
According to the RKI, the incidence across Germany was 118 on Wednesday. This means that the value in Thuringia was more than twice as high.
Erfurt - The health authorities in Thuringia reported 1004 new infections and ten other deaths in connection with a Covid 19 infection in the past 24 hours, according to the RKI.
Since the pandemic began in March 2020, it has been proven that 147,891 people have been infected with the corona virus;
4476 died of or with Covid 19 disease.

The day before the value was 74.9, on Saturday a week ago the value was 54.4.

Corona incidence in North Rhine-Westphalia decreased slightly
In North Rhine-Westphalia, the seven-day incidence of new corona infections has fallen.
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) gave the value on Saturday morning as 54.2.
For comparison: On Friday, the value of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days was 55.9.
On Saturday last week it was 58.5.
The nationwide incidence increased slightly from 64.3 to 64.4 compared to the previous day.
Corona incidence in North Rhine-Westphalia decreased slightly
The range of incidences at the municipal level was most recently between 118.9 in the Nordhausen district and 374 in the Kyffhäuserkreis.
The Kyffhäuserkreis is one of two districts in warning level three.
On Tuesday, the Ilm district (322.9) also slipped into the highest warning level after the increasing number of corona cases and increasing occupancy of hospital beds with Covid patients.
Nordhausen and Sömmerda (123) are the only Thuringian regions that are still in warning level one of the Thuringian corona early warning system.
All other regions are classified in warning level two.
