According to FDP boss Christian Lindner, faster planning acceleration is necessary in Germany.
"It has to be possible more quickly in Germany," said Lindner on Wednesday at the congress of the industrial union IG BCE in Hanover, to which he was connected via video.
Lindner named wind energy and public infrastructure as examples.
Hanover - Private-sector projects also need a faster pace in order to secure employment and growth.
More modern planning law is needed in Germany.
"During the pandemic, we saw that decisions can sometimes be made very quickly when action is required," emphasized Lindner.
