The person in charge of the liquor store, Mr. Shen, pointed out that a set of 6 Macallan Whiskeys was put on sale on the trading platform Carousell this morning (27th), with a total value of $425,000.

A few men claimed to be interested in this batch of famous wines, and agreed to go to the company to trade at 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

Later, a man arrived at the company for delivery as scheduled. When Shen took out the set of famous wines to the other party for inspection, the man claimed that he had ordered others to deposit the cheque to the liquor store account. When Shen checked and received, he found that the number was only the book number, and there was no real number. After the count, he immediately terminated the transaction. The other party insisted that the count was over. He even wanted to take the set of Macallan Whiskey. During the entanglement, Shen said that he wanted to call the police for help. Stopped but to no avail, immediately call the police for help.

During an episode, the liquor store suspected that the fraudster took a 40-year-old whiskey worth 150,000 yuan, but after a preliminary calculation, it was found that there was no loss.

According to Mr. Shen, the suspected man is about 20 to 30 years old, has a fat body, a black hat on his head, and a black shirt and black pants. The police are looking for the whereabouts of the fraudster.

Scams using fake checks to buy valuable goods online have occurred. The police arrested 4 men and 1 woman last October, involving 2.7 million yuan.

The police pointed out that from March last year to this month, they received reports from about 30 citizens stating that they were not able to receive purchasers into their accounts when they were selling luxury watches, wines, handbags and other valuable products online, and suspected that someone had made purchases with invalid checks.

After investigation by the police, it was discovered that a local scam group was searching for the seller online, and another scammer was sent to meet the seller to deliver the goods. Another scammer deposited an invalid cheque into the victim's account at another place at the same time.

The victim mistakenly thought that the other party had already over counted, and handed over the goods to the other party.

It was only after the victim discovered that the cheque had not been cleared and had been deceived.
