The German national player Justus Hollatz was together with Jaylon Brown the best shooter in Hamburg. Both had 14 points each. Badalona's most effective player was Vladimir Brodziansky with 16 points.
Badalona - The Hamburg team got off to a good start in the game and led by 21:17 after the first quarter.
In the second part of the game, however, the North Germans lost their accuracy.
They only got nine points and went into the break 30:34 behind.
The Towers could not be shaken off and still had a chance of victory after the third section with an intermediate result of 45:52.
In the final phase of the fourth quarter, however, the Spaniards pulled away.

At the Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv, last year's surprise team in the Euroleague just lost 68:69 (32:40) - despite a furious comeback after 17 points behind in the first half.
The best thrower on the Munich side was Deshaun Thomas on Thursday evening with 15 points.

The basketball players from Syntainics MBC avoided a false start in the Bundesliga.
The Weißenfelser prevailed on Thursday in a dramatic game against the Basketball Löwen Braunschweig with 106: 101 (89:89, 42:44) in the first extra time.
Goran Huskic (21 points) made the success perfect with two converted free throws.
The outstanding Chris Coffey (31), Nikola Rebic (15) and Behnam Yakchali (13) also had an enormous share in the first win of the season for the Central Germans.

Füchse Berlin continue winning streak against Erlangen
The Füchse Berlin have expanded their streak of success in the handball Bundesliga.
On Sunday, in front of 3322 spectators in the Max-Schmeling-Halle, Berlin won against HC Erlangen with 35:30 (20:16).
For coach Jaron Siewert's team, it was the fifth win in their fifth league game.
The hosts' best throwers were Hans Lindberg and Tim Matthes with seven goals each.

The Hamburg newcomer Ray McCallum has not yet played in this game.
The former NBA player will only join the team later this week.
The next game in the Eurocup will take place next Tuesday in Hamburg against Morabanc Andorra.
