The number of corona infections within one day has reached 687 cases, the highest level since April.
On April 9th of this year there were 911 new infections within 24 hours.
Most new corona cases reported the districts of Potsdam Mittelmark (70), Teltow Fläming (66), Havelland (57) and Elbe Elster (55), as the Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday.
Potsdam - Eight new deaths in connection with a Covid 19 disease were added.
The number of infected and sick people is currently estimated at around 4,600, compared to 3,400 a week ago.
The seven-day incidence in the country continues to rise and is slowly approaching the national average with a value of 95.5.
According to the Robert Koch Institute, it was 118.0 on Wednesday morning.
A week ago in Brandenburg there were 63.9 infections per 100,000 inhabitants within one week.
Cottbus reported the highest incidence value by far with 182.4.
This is followed by the districts of Spree-Neisse with 144.2 and Elbe-Elster with 137.5.
The fewest infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days were recorded in the independent city of Frankfurt (Oder) with 47.4 and the district of Uckermark with 51.6.
A total of six rural districts and two independent cities were above the 100 mark.
155 patients have to be treated in the hospital for Covid-19 disease, 36 of them are in intensive care units, of which 28 have to be ventilated.
For comparison: on November 6, 2020, there were 286 patients who were treated as inpatients for Covid-19 in clinics, 80 of them in intensive care units, of which 43 had to be ventilated.
The seven-day hospitalization incidence - i.e. the number of corona patients admitted to clinics per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days - reached 2.96, after 2.53 the day before.
3.5 percent of the available intensive care beds in hospitals with Covid 19 patients are occupied.

Further slight increase in corona patients in clinics
The number of corona patients in hospitals in Brandenburg continues to increase slightly.
After 61 patients on Saturday, the Ministry of Health reported 62 people on Sunday who have to be treated in clinics for a Covid 19 disease.
22 of these patients are being treated in intensive care, 21 of which have to be ventilated as of Saturday.

Corona numbers in Brandenburg rose slightly
The health authorities in Brandenburg reported 212 new Covid 19 cases within one day.
That is 18 cases more than a week ago, as the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) announced on Friday.
Within the past seven days, 38.5 people per 100,000 inhabitants were infected with the coronavirus;
a week ago the value was 38.1.
Corona numbers in Brandenburg rose slightly
In Brandenburg, 60.2 percent of the population is fully vaccinated.
In addition, a total of 29,966 people have received a booster vaccination so far.
With this value, the state ranks next to last compared to other federal states.
