For many years, the Interallié has been awarded after the major autumn awards (Goncourt, Renaudot, Femina, Grand Prix du roman de l'Académie française, Médicis).
Finally, generally, even if this is not always the case, the winner is a journalist and writer.
The prize was founded in 1930 by journalists who gathered around a table at the Cercle de Union Interallié.
But in recent years, the proclamation has been made at the Lasserre restaurant, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.
Verdict on November 10.
The Interallié Prize jury is made up of Gilles Martin-Chauffier, Stéphane Denis, Jacques Duquesne, Serge Lentz, Éric Neuhoff, Christophe Ono-dit-Biot, Jean-Marie Rouart, Jean-Christophe Rufin, Philippe Tesson and Florian Zeller.
The prize list is impressive, with, from 1930, André Malraux for
La Voie Royale
, then, among others, Antoine Blondin, Jean Dutourd, Pierre Schoendoerffer, Michel Déon, Dominique Bona, Michel Houellebecq, Yannick Haenel, Karine Tuil, as well as most members of the jury.
