Iran has invited France, Britain and Germany to a meeting in Tehran to discuss and resume negotiations for a return to the nuclear deal.

This was reported today (Wednesday) by the Iranian Press TV channel.

A source close to the details of the diplomatic activities of Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bakri Kani stated that "no response has yet been received."

He added that "Iran agrees to direct talks with the three European countries involved in the agreement."

The report on the Iranian invitation to the European powers comes after Bakri landed last night in Brussels in favor of several meetings with senior European officials, amid a possible return to nuclear talks.

Bakri is working to reach a compromise through which they will be able, at least initially, to return to diplomatic efforts with the West after months of disengagement.

The disconnection has continued since the last round of talks held in June in Vienna, the capital of Austria.

Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal reported that Bakri had rejected an offer from the "Big Three European" - Britain, France and Germany - for a joint meeting in the Belgian capital.

Instead, he insisted on meeting each country individually.

The Iranian move, in the form of inviting the three European powers to Tehran, marks a new record in the ayatollahs' disregard for the Biden regime.

While Washington officials convey conflicting messages, some about the priority for diplomatic activity and some about the "door" that will not remain wide open forever, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and his men continue to gallop forward in their nuclear program.

Given Biden's desire to find a diplomatic solution with Iran, it would not be unreasonable to believe that he might agree that representatives of the three European powers would fly to Tehran - while his men remain excluded from the negotiations.

Despite US efforts to bring Iran back to the negotiating table, tensions between the two countries persist this week as the US claimed that Iran was behind the UAV attack on the US military base in Syria last week.

According to a report in the American news agency AP, in Washington it is believed that Iran is behind the attack and it was carried out on its instructions.

At the same time, the senior stressed that the unmanned aircraft that took part in the attack were not launched from Iranian territory.

Meanwhile, after a cyber attack was reported yesterday that caused breakdowns at gas stations throughout the Islamic Republic of Iran, today the gas stations are back in full operation.

This was announced by the Secretary-General of the Iranian Council for the Management of Virtual Space, Abul-Hassan Firozbadi.

"Experts acted to solve the problem," he said, noting that "the disruption to the refueling systems lasted several hours and was caused by a cyber attack."
