An Israeli military court on Wednesday indicted a Palestinian with the premeditated murder of a Franco-Israeli in December in the occupied West Bank, the military said in a statement.
"
Mohamed Cabha, resident of Tura al-Gharbiya, was charged with the premeditated murder of Esther Horgen, after having confessed to his crime,
" the statement said.

Mohammed Cabha, who had been arrested by the Israeli security forces a few days after the murder, admitted having killed this Franco-Israeli living in an Israeli colony for “
nationalist
”
reasons
, the statement said.
Esther Horgen's body was found in December with beatings in a forest near the small Israeli settlement of Tal Menashé in the northern West Bank.

Esther Horgen, born Brigitte Attelan, 52 years old and mother of six children, immigrated from France to Israel in the 1980s. Present in court on Wednesday with two of her children, her husband Benjamin Horgen told AFP that the family was "
Satisfied
" with this indictment and wanted the murderer to suffer "
his punishment in all the severity of the law
" and "
remain behind bars until the end of his days.
The verdict will be given on December 14, according to the army.
