The registration rates are very high, between 90 and 95 percent.
There is more restraint at the Holzkirchen Middle School.
Rector Christian Turnwald explains: "The school hygiene regulations and the hygiene regulations that apply at the destination are not always identical." That means intensive preliminary planning.

That is why they agreed at the middle school to only go on excursions to conference centers that offer a stay with a regular schedule.
The implementation of final trips is currently rather difficult.
Because these usually require “attractive goals and free time”.
Turnwald hopes that by the summer “a situation will emerge in which final trips are possible without hesitation”.
All journeys are always subject to change
The students of the Tegernsee high school, on the other hand, have already enjoyed international trips. Rector Werner Oberholzner reports: "The Q 12 was in September - under increased security measures - for a week in Rome or Berlin." At the Miesbacher Gymnasium, the 6th grades were already in Austria at the end of the previous school year, as headmistress Claudia Reiserer reports. “The response was positive,” she says. According to Reiserer and Oberholzner, bookings are still only possible with reservations. “We started planning the exchange in France and Spain,” says Oberholzner. Whether this will actually take place is completely open.
Rector of the Holzkirchner Gymnasium, Axel Kisters, reports that trips within Germany are planned.
The study trip of the 10th grade, which was canceled due to Corona, is now being made up for the 12th grade in Germany.
“The students go to Berlin, Stuttgart, the Baltic Sea or the Ruhr area,” says Kisters.
There is still no solution for trips abroad, such as the ski camp.
With a view to the student exchange in England or France, Kisters is "rather skeptical".
Travel expenses also increased for school trips
Missed trips will not be made up at the Tegernseer Gymnasium. "That would be too much at the expense of the lessons," says Oberholzner. Schreiner also says: “A double number of journeys would not be manageable financially and in terms of personnel.” But they are trying “to enable everyone to go back to school with one-day excursions.” Likewise, canceled journeys at the Miesbacher Gymnasium are not made up for. Reiserer says: "That would not be age appropriate". One compromise, for example, is that French classes are allowed to go on the Latin trip to Regensburg in March. It is noticeable that the trips are more expensive. "We have to take out insurance that includes a corona-related withdrawal," said Kisters. These would cost just under ten euros per person. Schreiner noticed a price increase of 20 percent.
Youth hostel at Sudelfeld and study center in Josefstal with classes already fully booked
Relief from regained opportunities does not only prevail in schools. The director of the youth hostel at Sudelfeld, Angie Sebrich, had enormous break-ins due to Corona. “We have an average of 14,000 overnight stays per year. In 2020 there were only 6,000. So far this year, 3,000. ”But now she hopes that things will finally go uphill again. The booking situation at least could not be better at the moment. “I could occupy the house three times. We are fully booked with classes until the summer of 2022. ”However, one hurdle remains:“ It is incredibly difficult to fill a position. ", she says. Many would have turned their backs on the hotel industry. For two weeks now, classes have been visiting the study center in Josefstal again. Religious educator Volker Napiletzki says: "We are literally overrun with inquiries." The team had the impressionthat the consequences of social distancing were already being felt. ”The students were all happy to get out, but finding roles in the class and communicating were more difficult than it was before the pandemic, reports Napiletzki .
