Oron Kahlon, the veteran Israeli MMA fighter, missed the opportunity early Wednesday morning to obtain a professional contract in the UFC after losing in submission to his Afghan rival Javid Bashart in the third round of the fight.
The 36-year-old Kahlon, who competed as part of UFC President Dana White's nominee program to impress and win a contract, failed to be a worthy opponent for his Afghan rival despite the perfect record he held on the eve of the fight (0:16).

At the end of the fight, Bashart celebrated in a demonstration in front of the Israeli, who, as I recall, was involved in an embarrassing incident a day before the fight in the weighing event.
As you may recall, in a video that went viral, Kahlon was seen reaching out to his opponent to shake his hand, but Bashart chose to ignore the handshake, and was seen slapping the Israeli fighter hard.
In response, Kahlon called his opponent a "terrorist," and needless to say, he received countless reviews on social media for his mouth-watering remarks.
