It's no secret that the Zuckerberg family is careful to preserve Jewish roots, but we did not know how much • The wife of the founder of Facebook told a British magazine about Shabbat meals that include Chinese and kosher food, and that they raise their daughters in the spirit of Judaism

Quite a bit has been written in recent years about the Zuckerberg family and its attitude toward Judaism, including photos of Facebook's first family celebrating holidays and the like.

It turns out that although Priscilla Chan is not Jewish at all according to Halacha, the family observes Shabbat meals regularly.

In a recent interview with the British Sunday Times magazine, Chan Zuckerberg's wife (37) revealed that they are raising their two daughters, five-year-old Max and four-year-old August, in the spirit of Judaism, even though they are not Jewish.

(Zuckerberg is a Jew, grew up in a Reformed house and even celebrated a bar mitzvah in the spirit of "Star Wars." Chan is of Chinese descent and a Buddhist in her faith).

As part of the Jewish atmosphere at the Zuckerberg family home, Chan, 36, said that they make sure to have a Shabbat meal every Friday and that along with Chinese delicacies she serves at the table, she also takes care of preparing kosher dishes.

She also said that every night before going to bed, Zuckerberg makes sure to recite a Jewish prayer for his daughters, but does so in Mandarin, and this, of course, along with the programming skills he makes sure to teach them despite their young age.

Common, or perhaps more correctly: 做得好.
