Patrolmen have taken care of an exhausted seal in Bremerhaven. A walker had discovered the young animal on a rocky embankment at the sea dike and notified the officials, as a police spokesman said on Wednesday. The police then alerted the seal station in Norddeich on Tuesday afternoon. Until the arrival of the animal rights activists, the officials took the seal into their care and gave it the name "Piet".
