The Hungarian Hollywood Council announced the production of a portrait film about the international Syrian artist, Bahjat Iskandar, under the title (The Artist of Light).
The council, which is supervised by Ambassador Bokor Balaj, the former ambassador of Hungary in Damascus, stated that the film was selected in the 34th annual film race that will be held in Lucky Talak between the 17th and 19th of next month in memory of the late operator Chara Chandro.
It is noteworthy that the international Syrian photographer Bahjat Iskandar, who estranged from the homeland and moved to Hungary in 1967 to complete his higher studies, participated in many international exhibitions in America, Britain and Italy, and received more than 100 prizes for photography. The Order of Merit with the rank of Officer in 2012, and in 2019 he was the highest ministerial decoration given in Bulgaria.
