In 2020, a freelancer was sentenced to a suspended sentence for sexual assault, threats and bodily harm - and was on trial again.

Freinger had constantly assured her that he was innocent and that his previous conviction was based on a plot by his ex-girlfriend. According to the current indictment, the man pulled exactly the same number from the new victim as from her predecessor. This time it was the jury that heard the 34-year-old's pledges of innocence: He wanted to part with her, which she couldn't cope with. "Nothing in the indictment is true."
The Freising native liked to get to know his wives through dating platforms. At least that is the case with the two women who brought him to court. When the trial against him at the regional court was still ongoing, "a loose relationship" began, as the defendant put it on Wednesday. When he met a new woman in January, however, he noticed that she was taking the relationship more seriously than he was. He wanted to part with her. Nevertheless, he always had sex with her. The reason: "I was afraid that without her I would no longer have anyone to take care of my dog."
In June he finally managed to stay consistent, said the 34-year-old. On the evening of June 21, his ex asked him into her apartment when he brought her a few things that she still had in his apartment. But he refused. The prosecution portrays it completely differently and accuses Freising of dangerous bodily harm, deprivation of liberty, threats and sexual coercion. Accordingly, he pushed until the ex-girlfriend let him into her apartment. There he asked for her cell phone to be checked. When she refused, he put a pillow on her face until she felt sick. The defendant also threatened that "one of us will die tonight". Later he pressed another pillow to her face in the bedroom and squeezed her neck shut. The woman managed to escape from the apartment,but the 34-year-old caught up with them.

After a two-hour discussion in the hallway, she let him back into the apartment around five in the morning, believing that he would pack the rest of his things and leave. Instead, she was coerced into sexual acts by the defendant. Another escape at 8.30 a.m. was finally successful. According to colleagues of the victim, it was she who wanted a separation from the accused. After the horror night on June 22nd, the injured party reported to her superior on her private cell phone.
