The chairperson's review of 2019, 2020 and 2021 was nevertheless informative: The Schnürboden project was new in 2019.

Together with the Swabian Farm Museum, a roof structure from 1731 was built based on a historical model.

A cabinet exhibition with Hoigarte created by Monika Zeller commemorated the museum's founder Hermann Zeller, who would have turned 100 in August 2019.

The restored grave crosses around the Leonhard Chapel are also shining again.

The Leonhardi ride was expertly moderated by Wolfgang Mayerföls for the first time in 2019 and documented by SWR.

No public events could take place in 2020.

Legal relationships in Heimatdienst Illertal eV rearranged

But the association was active in the background and finally reorganized the legal relationships in the home service in 2021. Many joint meetings with the district, with expert colleagues from other associations, as well as additional neutral legal advice, only allowed one conclusion: the property and houses should be transferred to the association in order to ensure continued existence. All negotiations always had one goal: The home service and its members must not suffer any disadvantages. The Heimatdienst as part of the Zweckverband Schwäbisches Bauernhofmuseum retains all rights as usual. There are no restrictions on his work in the museum or beyond. This is guaranteed by clauses in the contract as well as an additional paragraph in the new association statutes. Nothing will change for the members either. In return, legal uncertainties in the areas of financing and contributions, maintenance and claims have been resolved. In addition, the Krugzeller Zehentstadel is available to the association for its own use. Exhibitions, meeting points for joint work or social gatherings are planned. This autumn, Annemarie Müller and Franziska Wacker enriched the museum's program with their skills: Annemarie Müller is one of the few people who can still make seaweed shoes and Franziska Wacker had her shoulder painted while shooting target. The cashier's report was quite clear due to the lack of activity. Prospect for 2022

In 2022, the Heimatdienst wants to be active as usual and pass on and live customs, starting with Easter customs and tying a herb bosom to the Leonhardi ride.
