Serious charge of harassment at school:
Police announced today (Wednesday) that they have completed their investigation into a case of suspicion of committing indecent acts committed by a teacher at a school in the Sharon area on two of his students during class. An indictment was filed against the defendant.
The Kfar Saba police station arrested the defendant about two weeks ago after a complaint was received from two middle school students in the Sharon area that the teacher had sexually touched them during class.
The accused teacher, a 31-year-old Taibeh resident, was questioned at the police station and his detention was extended from time to time.
Today in the Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva, an indictment was filed against the defendant for the offenses of indecent assault on a minor under 14 years of age, and the offense of indecent assault on a minor who turned 14 years old while exploiting dependency, authority and education.
The indictment was accompanied by a request for the detention of the defendant until the end of the proceedings against him.
