Ten sprayers were arrested in Berlin on Wednesday night.
The group was caught by employees of the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) spraying several subway wagons standing on a siding on Nürnberger Strasse in Charlottenburg, the police said.
Berlin - The group, aged 17 to 27, first emptied fire extinguishers in the direction of the BVG employees and then escaped from the subway shaft via an emergency exit.
The police arrested them when they got out.
The officers found 50 spray cans in the shaft.
Now it is being investigated for damage to property that is harmful to the community.
