Today, the branch of the Revolutionary Youth Union in Daraa presented two theatrical works on the stage of the House of Culture within the theatrical sub-festival, which is being held on the occasion of the fifty-third anniversary of the founding of the Youth Union.
The two theatrical performances, titled "The Invaders and the Jacket", were attended by a group of young amateurs who tried to delight the audience with realistic scenes with a humorous flavor.
The director of the Al-Sitrah show, Firas Al-Muqbil, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the work deals with the story of one of the playwrights who is trying to devise a new idea that no one else has addressed, but the idea overwhelms him and he turns into an obsessed writer, indicating that the work was performed by a group of young people who tried to bring joy to the hearts of the audience after years. long war.
With regard to the work of the invaders, one of the participants, "Hala al-Mahamid", indicated that the work sheds light on the crimes that are committed out of money, noting that the work took time to train until it reached this formula.
The audience found in theatrical performances an opportunity for joy, and called for the establishment of more works that deal with reality, with care for businesses and youth.
The Secretary of the Youth Branch, Rudaina Lazar, confirmed that the branch works with all its energy to embrace theatrical works and present them on the stages of cultural centers, in a way that contributes to conveying the capabilities of young people to the public.
The play Delirium by Daraa Youth won the Best Show award at the 24th National Youth Theater Festival.
