The IHK regional committee Erding-Freising will deal intensively with affordable housing and dual vocational training in the airport region.
District
- The committee members defined their top topics in their first working meeting after the IHK election in spring and after the constituent meeting.
The entrepreneurs now met for a mutual exchange in the Moosburger Stadthalle.
Moosburg's mayor Josef Dollinger (Free Voters) also took part in the meeting.
The statement
"With the opening of the airport in Erdinger Moos and the development towards one of the most important international hubs in Europe, our two districts have experienced an economic upswing and are in very good shape today," said Otto Heinz, IHK Vice President and Chairman of the IHK Regional Committee Erding-Freising.
“But we cannot rest on our successes, because the past year and a half have shown us how vulnerable our economy is and how dependent we are on the development of air traffic.
It is all the more important that we strengthen the economy in our region and keep pace with technical and social changes in order to remain competitive. "
The concern
The committee members therefore want to exchange ideas in their upcoming meetings about where the local companies are hurting and in which areas there is a need for action.
"In addition to the current acute supply bottlenecks for raw materials and chips, the rising cost of living and living as well as the lack of qualified skilled workers are fueling concerns among local entrepreneurs that economic development in the districts will be slowed," said Heinz at the meeting .
