District - The anniversary festival originally planned for May will now take place from December 10th to 15th, 2021 in the Florian-Stadl in the Andechs monastery and in the Beccult in Pöcking.
The festival format with compositions for chamber music from different centuries and from culturally different regions encourages people of all ages to deal with the development, value and necessity of classical music.
The anniversary festival 2021 with a total of eight concerts honors seven different composers in their anniversary year. The selected composers reflect the moods and possibilities of their respective times. The aim of the new festival is to "wander" through the various regions and epochs together with the musicians and the audience. The music should become an experience of its time, the communication, ie the dialogue as the special thing in music, should be made tangible as their major concern. The “voices” of the composers should really come to life, their emotions and sound ideas come alive - not only through the performances of the musicians, but also through the moderation of all concerts by Annekatrin Hentschel. The new series of events promises a particularly authentic musical experience.This is made possible by a different seating arrangement in the Florian-Stadl: the visitors sit right next to the musicians, who are playing in the middle of the Florian-Stadl instead of on the stage. There is also a special promotion for young audiences: children up to 14 years of age have free admission and young people up to 18 years of age pay a reduced price of just 8.00 euros per card.
In addition to the Goldmund Quartet, other well-known artists such as the delian :: quartett, Henschel Quartet, Maria Reiter, Margarita Oganesjan, Christoph Henschel or Hendrik Blumenroth are on stage. All events are moderated by Annekatrin Hentschel from BR Klassik.

Tickets in the first category are available for 35 euros, tickets in the second category for 29 euros and tickets in the third category for 20 euros per concert.
If you buy another ticket for the same concert day, the price is reduced by 5 euros for each additional concert.
The Festival Card (valid for all concerts in the first category) is available for 180 euros.
Children up to 14 years of age have free entry, but must also order a ticket.
Young people from 14 to 18 years pay a special price of 8.00 euros per card.
