Today, the Al-Quds International Foundation-Syria and the Syrian Arab People’s Committee for Supporting the Palestinian People and Resisting the Zionist Project organized a symposium entitled “The Palestinian Cause and International Organization” at the Abu Rummaneh Cultural Center.

The participants in the symposium stressed the need to encourage the Arab national youth movement for the Palestinian cause and not to rely on the international community, stressing that resistance is the basis for restoring the occupied land.

Dr. George Jabbour saw in his lecture that the United Nations squandered the right of the Palestinian people by deciding to divide their state, stressing that the right of return is fixed and does not disappear with time out, and no party has the right to waive it or neglect it.

Counselor Rashid Ma’id, a former criminal court judge, stated that international law did not do justice to the Palestinian cause, considering that resistance is the basis for the liberation of Palestine, because what was taken by force can only be recovered by force.

The symposium was attended by the Chairman of the Committee to Support the Palestinian People, Dr. Saber Falhout, the Director of the Al-Quds International Foundation - Syria, Dr. Khalaf Al-Muftah, the Libyan Ambassador to Damascus Abdul Salam Al-Mahdi Al-Raqi, and a number of leaders and representatives of Palestinian factions and cultural and social events.
