Shlomo Reish, the husband of 70-year-old Rachel Reich from Petah Tikva, whose inscription reads: "Murdered by Beilinson Hospital in the Corona ward," today (Wednesday) removed the caption with a marble plaque.
As you may recall, a viral photo posted and circulated on social media showed Reich's condition in Corona.
The hospital filed a complaint with the police about incitement to violence against the hospital staff.
As stated, following the storm, Reich decided to delete the caption and in a conversation with "Israel Today" he said: "I brought a person to repair the tombstone."
He also said that the hospital sent him a letter requesting that the caption be removed within 72 hours: "I downloaded it yesterday because I am against it. From the beginning I was against it, my son-in-law made me a bad surprise. I did not want them to write it, I did not even claim "Once Beilinson murdered Rachel."
At the same time he said that he believes his wife did not get sick in Corona and he intends to sue the hospital for negligence: “If a doctor made a wrong diagnosis and put in the wrong body of a patient then he will pay for it.
We know the anesthetic killed her kidneys, I'll sue them.
They changed my whole life and killed my wife, even if not on purpose.
A court will decide whether there was negligence or not. "
He added: "I have a document that they did a quick corona test and it came out negative. The doctors said that if there is a corona then the quick test shows it. All the substances and drugs that pushed her turned it into a rag, she called me and told me to contact management and get me out of here. I need management, I would come with an ambulance and take her home, maybe she would have survived. "
