The Band of the Cultural Center in Tartous performed a concert, during which the band's members, including young people and children, presented their own pieces and songs of the Rahbani brothers and Zaki Nassif.

The concert, which was presented as part of the activities of the celebration of the 19th Arab Children’s Day, “Sanabelna Thimmar”, in which the young Jawad Muhanna, who won first place in preserving the guitar, a piece he composed, entitled “Life”, was played by Karim Hammoud, some of which were written by him with the participation of Reem Harfouch, who She presented the songs "Raj'in Ya Hawa", "Talwa Hababna" and "Ya Asheqat El Ward".

Regarding the celebration organized by the Ministry of Culture in various governorates, Kamal Badran, Director of Tartous Culture, explained that it was held for one day in the governorate and included an exhibition of drawings by the children of the Life Skills Team and a clay painting workshop, in addition to a theatrical show in Tartous, Banias, Safita and Sheikh Badr, stressing the importance of going to the children and young people from During various workshops on an ongoing basis.

The trainer Amal Al-Ali and the producer of the theatrical work “The Water Watchman” who participated in the celebration indicated that the idea of ​​the work, in which eight children of different ages participated, revolves around reflecting the mind and thinking based on sound logic and not being drawn into ignorance and quotations without scientific evidence in a theatrical framework, while emphasizing the importance of language Standard Arabic and its correct pronunciation.

In her turn, the plastic artist, Julia Saeed, who supervised the training of children in the clay painting workshop, pointed out the importance of publishing paintings using dirt and water, or what is known as clay, pointing out that colors and words were inserted into the drawings in this workshop, in which a number of children and young people participated.

The plastic artist Nisreen Ali, who supervised the drawing workshop, noted the importance of the participation of 43 people, aged between 3 and 13, in the celebration, so that each of them presents his own painting that expresses his imagination and artistic creativity.
