This coming Shabbat we will read in the synagogue the parsha of the life of Sarah, in which the Torah tells us about the matchmaking of Yitzchak Avinu. The Torah emphasizes to us that "from what the thing came out we will not be able to say anything bad or good to you," that is, that only the Blessed One is paired.

The Admor Rabbi Josiah Pinto, head of the patriarchs of the courts in Morocco, explains:

In this week's parsha we see that Avraham Avinu sends Eliezer to bring a match to Yitzchak and thus Eliezer finds Rebecca. Even the power of matings for people and those who know how to aim well in this week's parsha, can win a decent pairing so people who did not get matchmaking made sure at this time to pray and do things to stimulate the time to win the match.

It is known what is said about a great king who met a rabbi and asked him what Gd does all day. Of Ploni Leploni, Mloni of Ploni Laploni. The same king said to the great rabbi, 'I can do it too.'

Only Gd Makes Couples (Photo: ShutterStock)

The king thought he would succeed and one day when he came out of the palace he saw a handsome poor girl walking down the street and called her, gave her the letter that would give him to a great minister in a distant city in his kingdom and he would give her a hundred gold pieces. The same girl began to follow the king's command and in the middle of the road an old woman stopped her and asked her for charity. The same girl took pity on her and gave her the letter that she would pass on to the minister and thus receive from the minister a hundred gold coins in her place. The old woman went to the minister and handed him the letter.

When the minister opened the letter, he saw that it was written in the letter that the king ordered him to marry the woman who would bring the letter. The minister stood helpless and married the same old woman. Past time the king made a big party and invited all the people and he looks at the same minister and sees that he takes cookies and food and puts it in his pockets. The king asked him why he was taking food and cookies and there in his pockets, the minister replied that it was for his wife. The king asked him what his wife had, the minister told him she was old and had no teeth.

The king told him that he had sent a young woman to marry him, the minister replied that no and whoever brought him the letter was an old woman.

Then the king understood what that girl did and what a great rabbi told him, that only Gd can pair matings.

Man should know that matings are only in the hand of Gd, the whole matter of matings is only through prayer and everything is in the hands of Gd. Thoughts in a person's heart and the counsel of God is resurrected "(Proverbs 19:21). And honestly with Gd and pouring out His love on Gd, Gd influences him abundantly and gives him good.

These days are days when there is power for mating, there will be a desire for God to pair everyone who needs mating in decent matings and for everyone to have salvation and success.
