According to the ministry, the two G models should apply to regional warning level 3 at events including exhibitions, trade fairs as well as special and annual fairs and sporting events.

This would also apply to cultural events such as readings, theater, cinema, opera or concert performances as well as to discos and dance events.

There are exceptions for children and adults who cannot be vaccinated.

The ministry wants to publish revised corona rules this Friday, which should apply from Saturday.

According to him, this is the Corona Ordinance with state-wide rules and the so-called containment decree, which sets the framework for the individual warning levels in the regions.

Afterwards, the municipalities can decide from warning level 2 in their areas whether they leave the option model and demand 2G or 3G plus bindingly, as the ministry spokesman explained.

Depending on the warning level, the municipalities issue their own general decrees to contain the risk of infection.
