The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 53 deaths and 907 new infections with the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The official spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 327,286, while the total number of deaths has reached 18,428.
Mujahid indicated that 721 people recovered from infection with the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of people recovered to 276,358 people to date.
Yesterday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 42 deaths and 871 new infections with the Corona virus.
